  • BG Trees of the Okavango

This little booklet was inspired by contact with some of the polers in the Okavango Delta who regularly take tourists on outings from Oddballs Camp in Makoros (dugout canoes).
In their efforts to show tourists the wonders of the Okavango, many of the polers have learnt the English words for their natural surroundings. These days it is not unusual to be leadarond the delta by a polerwith a copy of RobertsBirds under his arm, or balanced firmly on  hishead! In facton ta return  from one such trip we were shornw a list of trees compiled by Botshelo andthis list provided the seeds for this booklet.
